Men's Bootcamp is our flagship God encounter weekend designed to connect men deeply and set men free to love their families and lead others. It provides an opportunity for men to take a serious look at their lives, be honest about their weaknesses, and turn to God. It is highly relational and spiritually challenging. Many men have told us that Men's Bootcamp was the most significant God encounter of their lives.
The weekend is led by ordinary men from many different backgrounds and churches. The ministry flow is comprised of small groups, large groups, spiritual exercises, film clips, journaling, silence, outdoor prayer hikes, one-on-one spiritual coaching sessions, and more. Each of these plays an important role in helping a man identify the real needs of the soul. The highlights of the weekend are the God encounters that are available to every man. All men who attend experience an awakening of who they are in Christ. The fruits of this are always the same: freedom from sin, increased joy, renewed love for family, and empowerment to live out a man's purpose.
The weekend begins at 7:00 pm on Friday and concludes at 2:00 pm on Sunday. Our bootcamp is a great alternative to the annual men's retreat. You can either send your men to one of our bootcamps or we can send a team of trained leaders to you and your church.
Men's Boot Camp is for any man that has a hunger to know God in a deeper way and to learn to love others like Christ loves us. If you are a leader, the weekend will equip you with many new skills to minister to others and make disciples. If you are stuck in a spiritual rut or need freedom from a habitual sin, our boot camp will give you the opportunity to get to the root cause of what is holding you back in your spiritual journey. I arrived at boot camp with the hope of finding a community to help me through a difficult season of my life, and I walked away as a part of brotherhood. My time with these men has reminded me of my identity, helped me find my voice as a powerful man, and prepared me to cut the head off of the enemy for the sake of everyone I love.
I arrived Friday night of boot camp with anxious anticipation. Would God show up? I attended boot camp wanting to learn how to live in the full power of God. Throughout that weekend God began to remove the layers of my life and reveal areas of my heart I thought I had hidden well. But I began to lock in on the tools God has already provided in order to live a victorious life of FREEDOM. Boot camp is a mighty tool God is using to transform regular men into mighty warriors.
In a short weekend away from all my daily distractions, I experienced men laying down their will at the feet of Jesus. With the help of the leadership and the time they invested in me, I positioned myself at Jesus’ feet and surrendered all that had been keeping me stuck. It’s the best feeling admitting to a need for help and having other men be there to challenge me. I look forward to walking out the truth I experienced and living a life full for Jesus.
This was a great awakening for me– a rebirth. Through God’s grace I have discovered freedom in embracing the past as a gift, rather than living in shame for my previous sins and mistakes. My constant state of fear has been replaced with and transitioned into a state of joy. God has performed a miracle in me. As a man among men, I am excited about my future!
After being in bondage for 20 years, I have been given, through my Savior Jesus and the help of my brothers, sweet freedom from my fears that enslaved me for many years. I have found liberation from unforgiveness and became free as a bird. This decision saved my marriage from destruction and eventual self-sabotage, as well as brought restoration within my extended family. Praise and glory to Jesus for His unfailing love for me!
I went into boot camp with the mindset of “I have nothing to lose.” My marriage was a mess and my closest friend had recently died. A voice kept taunting me that I couldn’t be close to God. I was believing lies that I was not worthy of God’s forgiveness or love, that I didn’t have what it takes to be a spiritual leader in my family, and that I could never forgive myself or my wife. But throughout the weekend, several truths were revealed to me. I can now laugh when these lies try to rob my walk with God because I know I am a forgiven son of God!
